A Team Build day allows your business to strengthen its team while helping families achieve their dream of affordable homeownership. Unlike spending a day doing trust falls and building marshmallow towers, we will challenge your group to communicate, work together, and create something that makes a difference. Employees will return to the workplace motivated, connected, and inspired!

New to volunteering? Here’s what to expect.

• Volunteers ages 15 and under are welcome to help rake leaves, go door to door, be creative

• Volunteers ages 16-18 are welcome with limited tool work. (no power tools my friends) You can swings a hammer though! 

• Volunteers ages 18 to seasoned nicely are welcome to the build as they feel comfortable with. If you don't feel comfortable on the roof we're not going to put you there.

• All volunteers must sign a waiver if 18 and over or have a parent or legal guardian sign if they are under 18.

• Closed-toed shoes are required.

• We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or even ruined.

• Plan to bring sunscreen on hot days, extra layers on cooler ones, and a rain jacket.

• Please bring a bag lunch and enough water for the day. We also suggest coffee or electrolytes if you need it.

• All the tools, training, and safety equipment are provided.
